Our specially selected whisky and castles tours are offered to you to guarantee that we include some of our heritage, history and legends along with guaranteed scenic drives. Each tour will be a circular route to ensure you see as much as possible of our diverse landscapes from the comfort of your chauffeured vintage car.

Our drivers will tell you the history as you take in our breathtaking landscapes and are happy to stop for you to capture photographic memories.

Our day will start dependent on your chosen accommodation location. Our first distillery tour of the day commences at The Cardhu – the only malt distillery pioneered by a woman. The malt whisky produced here has a warmth and cleanliness of taste which experts describes as Silky and is used in some of the award winning Johnnie Walker blends. Cardhu lies high into the beautiful Speyside area of Knockando.

Your distillery tour commences at 10:00am, with duration a of 1 hour 15 mins where you will have a guided tour of the whisky making process, a short history of Cardhu followed by a tutored nosing and tasting of 5 of the single malts.

From Cardhu we will take you on a most scenic journey through beautiful landscapes of forest and farming lands along quiet single track roads to the village of Forres. At around noon we will arrive at Benromach Distillery, where you can watch whisky made the old way, by hand. Distilling since 1898 using the same spring water rising in nearby Romach Hills. See the 3 distillers at work as they orchestrate every second of the production by sight, sound and touch. Your friendly tour guide will proudly show you around the boby mill, mash tun, 4 wooden washbacks, 2 copper stills, spirit safe, filling room, dunnage warehouses and visitor centre with many mementoes. And, of course, you can enjoy a tutored tasting of the gorgeous 10-year-old award winning Speyside Single Malt Whisky.

After all this whisky filled morning, let us take you to a beautiful Scottish country house where you will be welcomed by owner and whisky expert Penny Ellis,

Enjoy a three course lunch celebrating Scotland’s larder in beautiful surroundings afterwards as you relax in the Malt Library enjoy a tutored whisky tasting with Penny who will include a signed copy of her book – Distinguished Distilleries. Penny is one of Scotland’s top female whisky experts.

After a relaxing experience of fine food and whisky let us take you on a gentle 20-minute scenic drive in your vintage car to Cawdor Castle located in the pretty village of Cawdor. A magical name, romantically linked by Shakespeare with Macbeth A superb fairy-tale Castle, and just what every visitor is looking for … Scottish history that you can touch, see and sense for yourself. Cawdor Castle is not another cold monument, but a splendid house and the home of the Cawdor family to this day.

Good furniture, fine portraits and pictures, interesting objects and outstanding tapestries are arranged to please the family rather than to echo fashion or impress. We believe Cawdor Castle is a truly extraordinary place. Enjoy exploring the beautiful gardens and Big wood before we return you to your accommodation. Sit back in comfort in your Bentley as you are driven an alternative route through some wonderful scenic hidden off the beaten track roads, watch out for deer, red squirrels birds of prey along the way stop off and enjoy the fast running Findhorn river at the historic Dulsie Bridge, just some of the intriguing beauty spots of the beaten track that only the locals know so well.

The itineraries and cars are all subject to availability, and costings and itineraries are all based on your pick up location within 12 miles of our base. Outwith this area we will tailor the itinerary too suit you. Extra mileage will be charged accordingly.
